The Overtube is an endoscopic access system designed to protect the oesophagus while delivering endoscopes and surgical instruments to the GI tract. The product incorporates a balloon sealing mechanism to allow insufflation and visibility of the working area. Marble developed this product from concept through testing to final manufacture. Marble worked within the required medical device design quality standards and supported the regulatory testing and submission. The product was launch in the USA and Europe after getting FDA approval in late 2012, becoming a springboard product for Apollo to develop future endoscope based surgical tools.
